About
Gaecheonjeol is the performance that marks the foundation of Korea. It takes place on the top of Mani mountain, located on the island of Ganghwa at the altar, on the peak of the mountain. The performance is carried out by high school students who practice the dance for several weeks before the actual performance.
This panorama shows the girls being taught the dance atop the altar, by their teacher just a few days before the main performance.
